MariaThree nights on a catamaran

This amazing agency booked us a 3-day cruise in the San Blas Islands. They showed us all the options and boats that were available and finally closed the option that best suits us and our budget. We were on a big yacht with a nice captain who cooked us 3 meals a day and sailed with us to the most beautiful and unspoiled islands of San Blas. We saw dolphins, sharks you can swim with and starfish. Everything was just perfect. Once in a lifetime experience.

Or Posener3 nights on a catamaran

Great service, great experience. We've booked a 3 night charter. Ido has been really helpful and communicative and has matched us with the most perfect sailboat, with a team of 2 (captain and crew / cook). We had a magical time and one of our top highlights!

Jacqueline Kirsch2 nights on a sailboat

We had 2 amazing nights on the sailboat. Sea Gypsy organized everything so well and helped us with all our questions. The trip itself was an absolute adventure and we had the best food! The cook even convinced me that I actually like octopus, which I usually never do. We went snorkeling and even saw a shark! It was breathtaking and all the beautiful islands are just stunning!

Michelle LampinenFishing trip

It was a dream of mine to visit the beautiful San Blas islands by boat and Sea Gypsy made it happen! They recommended the perfect yacht for our group. Highlights were visiting an island inhabited by a local Guna family, enjoying a fish BBQ on the beach, and relaxing in a hammock strung between palm trees. I can't wait to go back!

Maïa SauteletRemote island stay

Our trip to San Blas Islands was amazing! The water was crystal clear, the food was great (be ready for lots of fresh fish!), and the people were wonderful. It was the perfect way to disconnect and escape to the tropics! Thanks, Sea Gypsy, for a wonderful adventure!

Orit MadarOne night on a catamaran · translated from Hebrew

An extraordinary experience. Worth the trip even though we only had one night on the catamaran (we warmly recommend staying two nights or more). Service above and beyond, a comfortable, well-equipped catamaran and above all a captain and chef who did everything so we'd experience San Blas to the max. Ido coordinated our trip and everything was perfect!

FAQ

San Blas overnight trips: your questions

Is San Blas 2 days 1 night worth it?

Yes, if you only have two days. You get an afternoon, a sunset and a quiet morning in the islands after the day-trippers leave. If you can, 3 days 2 nights gives you one full day with no travel.

How much is a San Blas 3 days 2 nights trip?

From $140 per person on an island. A boat trip costs from $90 per person per night shared, or from $230 per person per night private. Transport and the $22 entrance fee are extra.

Is it better to sleep on an island or on a boat in San Blas?

An island cabin is simple, steady and great for families. A boat moves between islands, so you see more and snorkel right off the back. Both are calm, quiet and far from the crowds.

Is transport from Panama City included?

We arrange it for every trip. The shared 4x4 is $65 per person each way, paid in cash to the driver, with hotel pick-up at 5:00 to 5:30 AM.

What is an overnight tour of San Blas like?

You leave Panama City early, reach the islands by late morning, and spend the afternoon swimming, snorkeling and relaxing. Dinner is usually fresh fish, and you head back the next morning or the day after.

Do I need a passport for San Blas?

Yes. Bring your original passport (or Panamanian ID). There is a checkpoint on the road into Guna Yala.
