Sea Gypsy was born on a sailboat, not in an office. 5.5 years and 1,250+ guests later, we still only sail the real side of San Blas.
Sea Gypsy was founded by Gal and Dani, an Israeli couple who left life on land to see the world from their sailboat. They sailed the Mediterranean and Africa, crossed the Atlantic, explored the Caribbean and South America, and ended up in Panama.
Along the way they met two kinds of people. Travelers who wanted more than a tourist trip, and sailors who wanted to keep living at sea and earn a fair living from it. Sea Gypsy connects the two.
Today Sea Gypsy is run by Ido and Asaf, two Israeli brothers. They plan the trips, match every guest with the right boat or island, and are on WhatsApp before, during and after your trip.
Every trip on our site is hand-made with captains and island families we work with directly, and available only through Sea Gypsy.
