Low Season- $275 per person
High Season (Dec23-Apr24)-$300 per person
THE EXPERIENCE:
On board of Okumé, the crew is made up of Charles and Sonia. Charles is an experienced captain and a sailing teacher, He sails since he was 12 years old. And Sonia is the cooker and sailor. Before, Sonia was working with children in France. They are a young french couple who decided to buy a boat and now they are sailing since 4,5 years in San blas. They speak french, english and spanish. They love the sea life, nature, free diving, cooking. At board, they are concerned with the concept of “Zero Waste”. Sonia manufactures her own products (such as laundry soap, dishwashing liquids, cosmetics and other things), because for them, it’s very important to respect the nature. They like cooking and propose fresh and homemade food, inspired from different part of the world. Also, they will give you an amazing experience in San blas by sharing their lifestyle. They will adapt to your rhythm and will be happy to introduce you with the Gunas culture and the San Blas islands !
THE BOAT:
Okumé is a Sun Legend 41 feet. It was built in 1989 by Jeanneau, a french constructor. It’s a monohull in fiberglasse of 12,35 metters. The boat has two ventilated cabins for the guests. In one of them, there is a sink.
There is also a bathroom with toilet, one shower outside (In the tropics, it’s very cool to take shower under the stars !), a fridge and all the necessary for cooking.
The boat is self-sufficient in energy, with 3 solar panels. She has 350 liters of water.
PRICES INCLUDE:
Captain
Sailing trips to different islands (number depends on lengths of stay)
3 Meals and drinks
Linen, towels and beach towels.
Dinghy with outboard engine.
Paddle boards. Amount and type of water toys.
Snorkelling and fishing gear.
BBQ.
Use of water for shower.
PRICES DO NOT INCLUDE:
Transportation to and from the catamaran, which may vary in cost depending on whether you choose to travel by air or road.
Personal entry taxes of $20 per person for those traveling by road, and $24 for those arriving by air, which must be paid to customs.
Any additional items or activities outside of the catamaran, including entry fees of $3 per person for some islands (not all).
Travel insurance, which is highly recommended.
Food is not included in the price, but we do have a fully equipped kitchen on board with everything you need to prepare great meals. We will gladly bring groceries to the boat in advance according to your requests.
*Optional: personal Chef for extra charge: Full board menu based on fresh lobster, crab, fish, meat, fruits, etc , also adaptable to vegetarian or any other dietary need.
